Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing and using VoxifyAgent ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of Service

VoxifyAgent is an AI-powered voice shopping assistant for Shopify stores. The App adds a voice interface to your storefront that allows customers to search products, manage their cart, check order status, and navigate your store using voice commands.

3. API Keys and Third-Party Services

VoxifyAgent requires you to provide your own API key from OpenAI or Google Gemini. You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining and maintaining your API key
  • All costs incurred from your AI provider (OpenAI or Google)
  • Complying with the terms of service of your chosen AI provider
  • Keeping your API key secure

VoxifyAgent encrypts your API key at rest but is not liable for charges incurred on your AI provider account.

4. Subscription and Billing

  • VoxifyAgent costs $29 USD per month, billed every 30 days through Shopify
  • A 7-day free trial is provided for new installations
  • You may cancel at any time through Shopify's billing settings
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • AI provider costs (OpenAI, Google) are separate and billed directly by those providers

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
  • Abuse the App to generate excessive API calls or denial-of-service conditions
  • Use the App to collect or store customer data beyond its intended purpose

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of VoxifyAgent is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We handle your data in accordance with GDPR and Shopify's data protection requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

VoxifyAgent is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • AI responses that are inaccurate, inappropriate, or misleading
  • Lost sales or revenue due to App downtime or malfunction
  • Costs incurred on your AI provider account
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon uninstallation, all your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Shopify's GDPR requirements.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
